FOREST BATHING
FOREST BATHING
What is a “forest bath” ?
A Forest Bath is an immersive workshop in the forest or in other nature settings, where participants:
- Experience a moment to slow down and recharge their batteries,
- Rediscover and reconnect with nature
- … While reaping its diverse health benefits
A great opportunity for a different, more authentic type of team building.
The story behind
Forest bathing is an ancestral practice that was coined as shinrin-yoku in the 80’ies by Japanese minister Tomohide Akiyama which kickstarted scientific research proving the benefits of nature and forests on human beings (essential oils, oxygen, soil bacteria, etc.).
Since then, hundreds of studies have come out to complete the research on vary diverse therapeutic benefits of forest bathing.
The workshops are facilitated by certified forest bathing guides.

How does it work?
Participants are guided through a series of invitations that can vary:
- from moments of contemplation, mindfulness, meditation, connection to the 5 senses,
- to moments of creativity, games and movement.
Each session is adapted to the context and participants needs.
